BEALS, Everett L. Everett L. Beals, 83, of East Windsor, husband of Patricia (Godin) Beals peacefully departed this life Monday (March 15, 2004) at St. Francis Hospital. Everett was born in Blaine, ME and lived in East Windsor for most of his life. He served in the U.S. Army at the rank of staff sergeant in the European theater and was awarded the Bronze Star. Everett graduated from the University of Maine and then received a Master's Degree in teaching from Springfield College. He taught school for many years then accepted a position with Hamilton Standard for whom he worked for 25 years retiring in 1976. Everett was an owner and trainer of harness horses for more than 40 years. Besides his wife he is survived by two daughters, Debra White and husband Richard and Christine Kudra and husband Kenneth; a son, Brett Beals and his wife Christine all of Broad Brook; Joyce Beals of Wethersfield, two brothers, Clifford and Maurice of Blaine, ME; a sister, Mary Kunz of West Hartford; his grandchildren, Michael and Jason White, James and Ashley Beals, Emily McIntosh and Zachary, Dakota, Jacob and Joshua Kudra; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 20, at 11 a.m. in the First Congregational Church of East Windsor, 124 Scantic Rd. Immediately following the service, a reception for family and friends will be held in the church hall. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no visiting hours. The family thanks Dr. Joel Silver and staff of the Oncology department of St. Francis Hospital. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: St. Francis Hospital, Dept. of Radiation/Oncology, 94 Woodland St., Hartford 06105. The J. M. Bassinger Funeral Home, 37 Gardner St., East Windsor is assisting with arrangements.

it is truly a dark time for all that knew mister (everett) he will be missed by many he will forever remain in my heart and memories as one of the kindest persons i have ever known
