Mr. Serafini was my science teacher at Slade Jr. High School back in 1962. He was one of those teachers that you don't forget. (I can still remember him trying to prod me into putting more effort into my work.) He was such a kind man. When my Mother died in 1992 he told me how he remembered her coming to all of my brother Lucian's and my school functions and of her being so proud of us. It really meant a lot to me that he would remember us after all those years. My sincere sympathies go to the family. I'm sure he will be missed.
