Frances S. Merola

MEROLA, Frances S. Frances S. Merola, 76, of Manchester, the wife of the late Anthony T. "Tony" Merola died Thursday, (June 10, 2004) at Manchester Memorial Hospital. Born in Kingman, ME. Fran had lived in Manchester for many years. She was formerly employed by Pratt & Whitney Aircraft, later working in real estate for the Merritt Agency, Phyllis Jackson and Dave Daremus, and also had worked at Shady Glen. Fran was a member of the Manchester Democratic Town Committee, a past president of the Democratic Women's Club and also a member of the Emblem Club. Fran is survived by her children, Lynn Berggren, Robert Simes and his wife Kathy, Charlotte Owens and her husband Tim, Dawn Davis and her husband George, David Simes and his wife Chris, Anthony Merola III, and Connie Vendetta and her husband Tom; her grandchildren, Heather, Steven, Abie, Heidi, Brian, Wendy, Jeff, Rick, Beth, Dawn, Debbie, Danae, and Nicole; her great-grandchildren Amanda, Camryn, Rick, and Carter. She is also survived by her sisters, Beulah Kilgore, Stella Kelley, Esther Wells, Carolyn LaVerdiere, and her brothers, Walter, Andrew, Jack, Bob and Tom Scott, and her special friend Flo Desplanques. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 14, at 10 a.m. at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home, 219 West Center Street, Manchester. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 5-8 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the John A.
