FELICE, Francesco
Francesco Felice, 86, of Hartford, husband of Salvatrice (Pistritto) Felice, died Saturday, June 29, 2013 with his family at his side. Born in Belvedere, Sicily, Italy, son of the late Salvatore and Giuseppa (Lantiere) Felice, he emigrated to America in 1974 and has lived in Hartford since then. He was employed at Hartford Faience in Hartford and Wiremold in West Hartford. Francesco was involved in farming when he was in Italy and was a member of the Italian Army. Besides Salvatrice, his devoted wife of 55 years, Francesco is survived by two children; a daughter, Josephine Santangelo and her husband Salvatore of Middletown and a son, Angelo and his wife Carol of Rocky Hill; a sister Victoria Cannatta of Italy; 5 grandchildren, Kari Santangelo and her fiancé, Jason McKusick, Matthew Santangelo, Brian Santangelo, Nicole Felice and Morgan Felice. Francesco was predeceased by a brother Leandro and a sister Angela.
The funeral will be Wednesday (July 3) beginning at 9 a.m. from the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield, CT 06109 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Augustine Church, 10 Campfield Ave., Hartford, CT 06114. Entombment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford. Calling hours will be Tuesday (July 2) from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home in Wethersfield. Angelo and Felice Family-
Our deepest sympathy to the sudden lost of your father. It is tragic when someone dies so suddenly. Chris will always remember the road trip to New York airport with your parents and getting stuck in traffic. In time my the pain of your loss be comforted by your wonderful that your family shared. RIP Mr. Felice
