Without question, one of the finest gentleman I have ever known. Fred was an inspiration to all of those who value true honesty, integrity, and professional demeanor. A kind and generous man, Fred was a beacon in and of himself to all of his friends, family, and fellow mariners. Fred was unique in his steadfast adherence to his principals of morality, respect, and integrity. A brilliant mind, a kind heart, a generous man, and a wonderful friend are only a few attributes that define this beautiful man. Fred, you will be sorely missed my friend; may you rest peacefully now in the house of the Lord. Our only regret is that we were not there to say goodbye; however, our memories of you will be cherished forever.
