Gary P. Marvonek

1950 - 2017

EASTON, MA.--Gary P. Marvonek, 67, a resident of Easton for the past 20 years, passed away Friday, November 3, 2017 at Southeast Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center after a brief illness. He was the husband of Nancy A. (Timbone) Marvonek for 26 years. Born May 7, 1950 in Stafford, CT., a son of Samuel and Shirley (Pallanck) Marvonek of Palm Harbor, FL., he was raised in South Windsor, CT. and was a graduate of South Windsor High School. Gary was a man of many talents.  He was a master carpenter having built many homes in CT. as well as his own home in North Easton.  He enjoyed his yearly vegetable garden, renovating, and his cooking talent was unsurpassed.  He loved nothing more than to be surrounded by his. family especially during holidays. His hobbies included boating and fishing and he was an avid New England Patriots fan. In addition to his wife Nancy and his parents, he is survived by two children, Samantha Marvonek of Falmouth and Max Marvonek of Easton; his siblings, Jeff Marvonek and his wife Janice of CA., Robert Marvonek and his wife Arlene of FL., and Linda Colbasani and her husband Charles of FL.; his mother-in-law, Margie Ayers of FL., and several nieces and nephews. He was also the son-in-law of the late Vincent Timbone. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. in Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services 605 Washington Street (Rte.138) Easton, followed by a funeral service at 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
