To all Gary's family and friends:
We were so sad to hear of Gary's passing. Gary was a dear friend of ours. He worked for us at D'Agata's Auto Center in Avon and at our business in East Granby, New England Automotive Enterprises. He was a good friend, with a wonderful sense of humor. He talked of his children on a regular basis, how proud he was of them and how much they meant to his life. Stephen, you wrote a beautiful tribute to your Father. We remember you and your brothers Chris and Tim, you came to our home in Simsbury with your parents and your Dad brought you to work with him sometimes. Know that he loved you dearly and worked so hard to make sure that you had a wonderful life. All of his children were in his heart always and he will remain in yours. Think of the happy memories you had with your Dad, they will help to get you through this difficult time. Sincerely, Bill and Maureen Dunn

Dear Dad,
All i can do is lay here in bed and picture your face knowing that I will never get a chance to actually see you face to face. I cried all night and wished I could be by your side so that you could see me one last time. In my heart I tried and tried to relay the message to you that we all really need you to be strong and fight. You can not leave us so soon I dont feel like your time is up , you have worked so hard in life and now it should be your time to live. I called you Dad , I know you could not talk for long but I really wanted you to know that I love you so much. I hoped those words would not be the last ones even though they were special. I hate the feeling that you were in so much pain . When I came back home you were very sick and we did not spend much time together , I really wish we did. All I can do now is think about you and the good times we had . I miss you so much . You showed me so much in life and you always wanted the best for me. You devoted your life to being a great man and an even better father. You always would find a way to make things work out in the end , even if they seemed like they wouldn't. There is so much you have passed down to your sons because you were always there when we needed you and when times were tough you always did what you could . I really wish you were here because there is so much love I still need to give you in return for all that you have done for me . I know you were always proud of me even if I didnt feel like I had done much. I really hope that you can continue to be proud of me as you watch me from up above in heaven. I really wish you could still be here Dad ......
