George Bieu Obituary



Mr. George F. Bieu, 87, died on Sunday, January 4, at St. Mary's Hospital. He was the husband of the late Alice (Eustace) Bieu. Mr. Bieu was born August 6, 1927 in Middletown, son of the late Clement and Mary (Soucie) Bieu. Raised in New Haven he was a graduate of Commercial High School and attended the University of New Haven. He served honorably in the United States Army. He is survived by his son, Dennis Bieu of Newington; his daughter, Denise Henry of Hamden; three grandchildren, Christopher Bieu, Rachel Bieu, Michael Henry, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters, Catherine Beschel, Anna Adamcyzk, Mary Christance and brothers, Clement, James, Joseph and Henry Bieu. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, January 9, at 10:30 A.M. at St. Leo the Great Church in Waterbury. There are no calling hours. Burial of cremains with full military honors will be held at All Saints Cemetery in North Haven. Arrangements are in the care of Woodtick Memorial 420 Woodtick Rd. Wolcott.
