I'm saddened to learn of George's passing on. I was a one-time neighbor in Meriden, but more notably, I worked with George in the nascent business computer software industry, participating in the evolution as Computeristics became Management Science America, and then again, as MSA became Dun & Bradstreet Software. George was always an enthusiastic, proud and dedicated professional. And he never failed to bring a smile or a laugh, just when it was needed most. He relentlessly championed the idea of packaged software as a business solution with vigor and commitment, at a time when the very concept was foreign and suspect. Always with pep in his step, you knew George was in the office when you heard him exclaim his trademark reply: "SUPER!"
I extend my sympathy and condolences to Shirley and Mark, his brother and sister, and to the entire extended family, as well as George's friends.
