We were so very sorry to hear about George's passing. We had the pleasure of knowing him from ushering at The Kate. When we saw one of his western hats when we'd arrive for ushering, we knew it would be a good night. We loved to talk to him about his gardening and his painting. We enjoyed his dry sense of humor and his stories. He will be sadly missed.

Phyllis and Family,
I am so sorry to hear of George's passing. We had great times at the shows at the Kate. for so many years. When I was House Manager and George was an usher I always knew he had my back and take care any situation. Great friend, usher and a perfect gentleman. Of course we talked about his tomato plants and his paintings. We truly lost a sweet, kind, wonderful man. I will miss him at the local tag sales and around town. George was so kind and loving to me when I lost my Mom. I have never forgotten his comforting words. You are all in my prayers,
