Gerald Aronson Obituary

ARONSON, Gerald Frederick Gerald Frederick Aronson, a World War II Veteran, 87, of East Granby, passed away at his son's home, Sunday, (November 23, 2008). He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Catherine Aronson; sister, Phyllis A. Strutton and a great grandchild, Rebecca Bailey Aronson. Survivors include his wife, Phyllis T. Aronson, sons, Keith S. Aronson, Douglas B. Aronson (Lynn), brothers, The Honorable Arnold W. Aronson (Hermia), Leonard Aronson (Carol), brothers-in-law, Gordon E. Tracy, and sister-in-law, Norma Keans. Also surviving are grandchildren, Brittany Aronson, Andrea Gill (Jason), Darcy Staples (Marshall), Justin R. Aronson (Nikki), Samuel R. Aronson, Joseph D. Aronson, great grandchildren, Katelyn, Tiffany and Brooke Gill, Joshua Boelt and Sara Aronson. The family will receive friends Friday, November 26, from 6 - 8 p.m. at the Chesterfield Chapel of the Bennett Funeral Home, 14301 Ashbrook Pkwy., where his funeral will be held 11 a.m. Saturday. Interment with military honors will be in the Cartersville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 2601 Willard Rd., Ste. 103, Richmond, VA 23294.
