GERALDINE A. RUDDY
AGE: 92
ORMOND BEACH, FL
Geraldine A. Ruddy, 92, of Ormond Beach, passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2010. Geraldine was born May 27, 1917 in Brooklyn, New York. She was formerly a volunteer with the Community First Aid and Brick Town First Aid in Brick, New Jersey while she was also head postal clerk for the U.S. Post Office in Brick. She was a founding member of The Church of the Visitation in Brick where she was also a past president of the Altar Rosary Society.
Predeceased by her husband, Donald, son Rick and daughter Gay, she is survived by two sons, Henry and Donn; two daughters, Kathleen Maineiro and Barbara Donald; 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to either EWTN in Irondale, Alabama or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
Visitation will be Sun., April 11, from 6-8pm at the Weatherhead Young Funeral Home, 885 Mantoloking Rd., Brick. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated Mon. 10AM at Church of the Visitation, Brick. Interment will follow at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, Lakewood.
