Gloria Pepin Obituary
Gloria I. (Lemieux) Pepin, 82, of Windsor, beloved wife of Joseph R. Pepin, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital. She was born August 22, 1932 in Hartford to the late Alfred and Delia (Fournier) Lemieux. A lifelong Windsor resident, Gloria graduated from John Fitch High School in 1951 and was a parishioner of St. Joseph Church. Before her retirement in 1992 she had worked for Hamilton Standard in Windsor Locks for 25 years. She loved playing Bingo, at the Elks Lodge or Foxwoods but nothing compared to the joy she got from spending time with and supporting her grandchildren. In addition to her husband of 59 years, Gloria is survived by her children, Deborah Pepin of Windsor Locks; Roland Pepin and his wife Kathy of Stow, OH; Albert Pepin and his wife Lisa of Windsor Locks; Sharon Pepin of Windsor; Donald Pepin and his wife Terry of Windsor; Roger Pepin of Windsor Locks; her brother, Robert Lemieux and his wife Pat, her sisters, Doris Conway, Nel Molinari and her husband Robert, Gail Jezouit and her husband Ray and her sister-in-law, Patty Lemieux. She also leaves eight grandchildren, Timothy Pepin and his fiancée Shelby Sitko, Andrew Pepin and his wife Michelle, Sarah Pepin and her fiancé Brian Hartnett, Tyler, Allison, Conor, Hannah and Janelle Pepin. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her brothers, Alfred Lemieux, Jr., Ray Lemieux, her sisters, Yvonne Lemieux and Irene Marcia. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, November 6, 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, 1747 Poquonock Ave., Windsor. Burial will follow in the Windsor Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Her family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 5, from 4-7 p.m. at the Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor. We are saddened by the passing of our dearest Gloria. She shared her passion, smiles and exuberant love of life with complete selflessness.
Knowing Gloria was rewarded daily with such hope, optimism and joy. Her smile, laughter, and passion will always shine as a glorious testament to the power of love.
Her innate ability to live life on life's terms and share those qualities, her hopes, dreams and ideals with those of us whose lives she touched will always be a cherished gift. It has been an honor and privilege to know and love her.

Uncle Butch & family, So many memories have been made and now so many to cherish. Whenever I go strawberry picking, I know your Aunt Gloria will be looking down on me and to help me find all the good ones. I'm blessed to have had such a caring aunt to me and my boys!
