Uncle, words can't even begin to explain the hole that is left in the wake of your death. You were like a second father to me from the time Jason and I were born. Holidays are going to be a little emptier without you sitting next to me at the table no matter how much I complained about the gross seafood you loved so much. I'm almost expecting you to call and ask where I want to go to brunch when I'm home for spring break (Olympia Diner of course!) It's hard to believe that all of this is now in the past tense, ice cream at Gal's, baiting my hook for me, knuckle sandwiches and playing Pictureka. I don't want to believe that someone I love so much is gone forever, it's hard to imagine my birthday next week without you there, combing your hair as you always did. I don't know where to end this, I could ramble on for pages about how much you meant to me and how I always knew we were closer than Phil and Jas being your only niece. This seems so silly but I can't stop thinking about Sparky and how he's going to miss you petting him when you came over. It so stupid but I'm going to miss the most the things that used to annoy me after a while, how you'd repeat yourself, your awful cough, I want it back. I want you back, but you're with GG and Quaw now so I can't be selfish. I just miss you Love always,
Michelle
