SNOPKOWSKI, Hedwig
Hedwig Snopkowski, 94, of Middletown formerly of Cromwell, died Thursday (April 18, 2013) at Apple Rehab in Middletown. She was born in Amsterdam, NY, daughter of the late Andrew and Rose (Rupinski) Snopkowski. Prior to retirement, Hedy worked as a teacher at St. Mary School. She is survived by a sister, Helen Redel of Schenectady, NY; three nieces, Rose Mary DiBlasi and her husband Daniel of Amsterdam, NY, Judy Redel of New Jersey, Carol Redel of Texas; a nephew Robert Redel of Illinois. She also leaves behind her Cromwell friends and caretakers, Pat, Michael, Shaun and Marissa Stock. She was a woman of deep faith and shared it with everyone she knew, enhancing their life as well.
The Funeral Liturgy will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Mary of Czestochowa Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St, Middletown.
