I knew Helen as an industry leader and mentor when I worked for her at LIMRA. I always will remember her generosity, intelligence, and humor. She spoke lovingly of her family, but seeing all of her family at the service, and viewing photos and quilt, I know now how truly blessed she was with the love and happiness she received from family and friends.

I met Helen in 1990 when just starting out at LIMRA. She always had a smile, no matter what stress the day brought. Always pleasant, always professional yet approachable and so very intelligent.
My sincerest sympathy to the family.

Helen hired me to work in the Market Research Department at LIAMA in 1959. I worked for her for about ten years before leaving to attend accounting school. After I finished school, I happened to run into her and she asked what I was doing. I mentioned that I had finished school and was looking for a job. She asked George Wray in the accounting department at LIAMA (now LIMRA) if he needed any help and as it happened, he did. I worked there another ten years before going on to other things. We didn't keep in touch after that, but I will always remember how kind she was to me.
My condolences to her family.
