WATERMAN, Helen C. (Carini) Helen Charlotte (Carini) Waterman, 79, went to her Lord Sunday morning, (January 23, 2011), at Chesterfields Convalescent Home in Chester surrounded by her family. Known to her family and friends as Charlotte, she was born November 4, 1931 in Chester, Connecticut. Charlotte was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Helen (Moore) Carini. Charlotte graduated Chester High School in 1949. She was employed at ESICO in Deep River and was a home health care provider. Charlotte loved music, gardening, crocheting, and entering baking contests at local fairs. Charlotte was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Chester. Charlotte is survived by two sons, Michael J. Berdensey of Chester and Lawrence A. Berdensey, and his wife Elizabeth, of Gales Ferry. She is also survived by three granddaughters, Charlotte, Erin, and Kathleen Berdensey all of Gales Ferry; and her cousin Theresa Scarpine of Chester. The family would like to thank the nurses, CNA's, and staff for their kindness and care Charlotte received during her tenure at Chesterfield's over the past four years. Visitation will be held Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Robinson, Wright & Weymer Funeral Home, 34 Main St. in Centerbrook. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 12:30 p.m. at St. Joseph's Church, 48 Middlesex Ave. in Chester. Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
