I am so sorry for loss. I know she will be missed by all. I hope you find comfort in these words and this poem.

Native American Prayer

I give you the one thought to keep –

I am with you still.

Do not stand by my grave and weep

I am not there. I do not sleep.

I am a thousand winds that blow,

I am a diamond glint on snow,

I am the sunlight on ripened grain,

I am the gentle autumn rain.

When you awake in the morning hush,

I am the swift up lifting rush

of quiet birds in circling flight.

I am the soft stars that shine at night.

Do not stand by my grave and cry.

I am not there... I did not die.

Do not think of me as gone –

I am with you still - in each new dawn

Sweet to hear her voice on the phone or wherever I saw her, ever kind. Seems like just yesterday we celebrated her 75th birthday. She remembered many of my birthdays over the years, and in particular, surprised me with red roses way back on my 16th...of course, she will be missed by many, many people...I send my condolences to my cousins...many of us will always remember her as our special aunt, our Ciocia Hela.

Helen was indeed our family "matriach". She was the best "big" sister anyone could wish for. She constantly encouraged me and made me realize that "all things are possible with God". That has changed my life. I will never forget her and I will miss her terribly. I am consoled knowing that one day we will be together again. Rest in peace my dear sister. freda
