Dear Mary and all; I just heard through the "grapevine" that Hank passed. I am so sorry about this. You were always special to me - and wonderful neighbors. I have not been home since John died three years ago, and have not kept up much. My deepest sympathy to you - a super wonderful, and certainly patient man. Judy sweatland

I grew up with the Champagney family at the lake. From Hank's parents, brother and wonderful Mary my life wouldn't have been the same without all of them. On the ice or on the water, Hank always had a smile that made you happy.

There are a lot of old out-board engines that will miss your your touch back to life. A good defenseman is hard find, not to mention a good friend and patient teacher. The dressing room will be a lot emptier without you. You are a legend.
