Dear Jean and Family, Judy and I offer our sympathy in your loss. What I remember about Herman is his warm and engaging smile. It came from one who loved God and God's people. It is Heaven's gain and still not our loss because we will join him at that great reunion in the hereafter. May the Lord be your comfort. Love, Len and Judy Marcy

Jean and family, we are so sorry to hear of Herm's passing, and very disappointed not learn of it until after the memorial. We shall miss his twinkle, his spirit, his caring, and way of making one feel welcome. He was a good friend and will be sorely missed. Our prayers are with all of you. God bless, John & Fran Barclay

Jean and family,
Joyce and I were sad to hear that Herman had died. We were on our way to Europe at the time. I noticed the announcement in the Eastford Baptist website. We are so glad that we got to see Herman and you in church in June. May the Lord comfort you, your sons and families during the coming days. I know that you all will miss him. Herman was good Christian example to all.

I heard from Laurie in Japan about Herman's death so I will share the news with Alvin, Len, and Richmond. I thought Herman was a very wise man to be able to raise his sons to walk with the Lord. Please give my regards to all of them. Marilyn Marcy-Tyler

Bruce, Linda, and entire Barlow clan,
We will be praying for your family members as they miss their husband, Dad, grandfather, and great-grandfather. HEB Sr. left an extra-special legacy for all the Barlows. To God be the glory.
With heartfelt condolences ...

Bruce, words fall short of expressing my sorrow. Though I never had the honor of meeting your father, I am confident our Father has arranged a very special place for him in Heaven where he awaits you and the rest of his loving family. What a day of rejoicing it will be! May you and your family remain in pursuit of His unfailing love and cling to Him for wisdom and understanding in this time of sorrow.
