To the Family of Hugo Benigni: We were sorry to learn of your father's passing. We were also active with him in Unico (Hartford Chapter) and have known him for years! Most recently we renewed our friendship when he came to Village Gate; Rosanne's father has been a resident there for over 11 years. We are in CT for the Holidays and we asked Dad's caregiver why we hadn/t seen Hugo since we returned on Nov. 21st and she told us of your loss. We extend our sincerest condolences to all your family and will remember him in our prayers. Sincerely, Rosanne & Joe Sparveri

Louise and I send our deepest sympathies to Carol, Susan and Nancy, as well as to all of your families, for the loss of your dad, a truly outstanding man and friend to so many people. I had the pleasure of being assigned to work directly with him for three years in the State Auditors Offices, and never in my life have I enjoyed work more. Just being with Hugh made work and life a happy and enjoyable experience, primarily because he was such a happy, positive and giving person himself, with never a negative word about anyone. My thoughts and prayers are with my buddy and dear friend, Hugo.
