Ina RUSSO Obituary

RUSSO, Ina Jean DeRosa

Ina Jean DeRosa Russo, 83, of Dunedin, FL, beloved wife of Michael J. Russo, peacefully passed away at Suncoast Hospice in Florida on July 19, 2013. Ina was born on January 9, 1930. Her parents were the late Dr. Sylvester and RoseMarie DeRosa. Ina was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She leaves behind her devoted husband of 60 years, Michael J. Russo and sister, Carol DeRosa. She also leaves her children Anthony Russo (Dawn), Michael Russo (Annette), Valerie Palermo (Bobby) and Leslie Misener (Rick) and nine grandchildren. Ina's passion was Creative Child Care Center that she owned and operated out of her home in Middletown. As all that know her, she put her whole heart into running that business. She loved the children there like they were her own. Over the years she had many passions such as dog training and she was also a piano teacher, putting her heart into everything she did. Ina will be truly missed.

Ina is someone that has always made me smile just thinking of her. She was amazing working at the daycare, she was feared, respected and loved by the kids and staff! I'm so happy I had the opportunity to have her hold my son, I will cherish that memory. My condolences go out to all her family and friends but especially Nikki. I know what a big part of your life she was, I know you talked almost every day so if you have any daycare stories to tell, I'm all ears! I love and will miss you "judge Judy"

I met Ina almost 2 years ago when I started dating her Grandson, Anthony Russo. She accepted me into her home and her heart and I was fortunate enough to live 3 miles down the road from her and Mike and would go over by myself and visit with her for hours. She called me almost everyday and always told me she loved me. She had such a big impact on my life and made me feel like one of her own.
I will miss Ina so much but I am at peace with the fact that she is in a much better place. The world lost a wonderful woman but God gained a BEAUTIFUL angel.

You were like a grandma to me. You were the one to give me my first job and teach me the value of kids. The kids were your world and your taught them one by one. I remember our talk when I was three and I will always remember. Keep looking over the daycare and all your children. Love you always and miss you forever.

Ina had a huge influence on My life. She gave me my first job when I was 17, at Creative Child Care center. She treated me like family, taking me and my two daughters into her home when we had nowhere to live. She taught me how to be a good mother, and a successful adult. Thank you Ina! I love you.
