O'CONNOR, Irene G. Irene G. O'Connor, 82, of the Orchards of Southington and formerly of Bristol, widow of Augustine T. O'Connor, died Sunday (February 19, 2006) at home. She was born March 15, 1923 in St. Quentin, New Brunswick, Canada, daughter of the late Josephel and Leonie (Guerrette) Guerrette. A lifelong resident of Bristol, Mrs. O'Connor had been employed at Critikon, Inc. in Southington until her retirement and was a member of St. Matthew Church in Forestville. She is survived by two sons, Bryan O'Connor and his wife, Susan of Forestville, Kevin O'Connor and his fiancé Nancy Ventrella of Bristol; a daughter, Sharon Middleton and her husband, Michael of Bristol; a brother, Hector Guerrette; a sister, Gladys Pelletier; six grandchildren, Michelle Middleton, Marci Aldi, Aaron O'Connor, Amanda Deloreto, Ryan O'Connor, and Christopher O'Connor; two great-grandchildren, Brea Aldi and Jack Deloreto; several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a brother, Edgar Guerrette and fours sisters, Ora Gagne, Dorothy Roberge, Bertha Mischke, and Jeanne Lausier. The family would like to express their deep gratitude to the staff at the Orchards of Southington and a very special thank you to VITAS Hospice. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 10 a.m. from the O'Brien Funeral Home, 24 Lincoln Ave., Forestville, to St. Matthew Church, Forestville, for a Mass at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on TODAY from 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Matthew Church, Development Fund, 120 Church Ave., Forestville, CT 06010 or to the Susan G.
