It was a delight to know Jim & Mary for the past ten years. They always had a smile & expressed how proud they were of their family. What a special service. James and Allison were so strong with their readings and Pam's eulogy was so special it really honored James life for the wonderful husband, Dad and Papa he was. God was in need of some cheering up and asked around if anyone knew of a good story teller, especially of the Irish persuasion. My sister, Mary, said, I do, and he is just waiting around down there for the opportunity to reach a heavenly audience. So it came to pass.
My thoughts and prayers and love to all of the family. Per your wishes, I shall send a contribution to the Smile Train in your dad's name.
Please stay strong, stay together, know that dad had to leave you to join mother, and in that respect it is a time for happiness and not sadness.
I love you all, Uncle Jimmy

We remember Jim and his always smiling welcome....and of course, his "great" potato salad. He and Mary were at many of the gatherings held at Pat & Patsy Barnett's home. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.
