James B. La Croix

James B. La Croix, 56 of Granby, CT died after a single car motor vehicle accident on July 19th 2023. Jim was born in Needham, MA and raised in Millis, MA and attended Millis Public Schools. He was an outstanding athlete playing on both the Varsity Baseball and Football Teams. He is remembered for his sense of humor and for his love of sports. Jim achieved his Associate Degree in Law Enforcement from Springfield Technical Community College in 1995. He was most recently employed as a Corrections Officer for the State of Connecticut for 13 years. He is survived by his two daughters, Jaclynn and Hannah La Croix of CT and their mother Dianne Romano; his mother, Kathleen Borgman of, NH; his father, Frank La Croix of, CT and step-mother, Emily La Croix; his two sisters, Tracy Huntress (Clark) of FL and Amy Brooks (Norman) of NH. and is missed by his aunt and uncle and his many loving cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
