BARTIZEK, Janice
Mrs. Janice "Jan" Bartizek, age 90 of Lebanon, Ohio and formerly of Lebanon, Connecticut passed away peacefully on July 2, 2011 at the Otterbein Transitional Care Unit in Lebanon, Ohio. Born June 15, 1921 in Coventry, Connecticut she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Rubie (Watrous) Spellacy. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Lebanon, charter member and past president of the Lebanon Historical Society and was also a charter member of the Lebanon Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She was an avid poet and authored a book Frankie and the Cook shortly after Frank's passing. She is survived by her sister Charlotte "Charli" Adams of Holland, Michigan; her son Bob and his wife Ann Bartizek of Lebanon, Ohio; and her grandson Brian and his wife Natalie Bartizek also of Lebanon, Ohio. She was predeceased by brothers Paul, Vernon, Francis and Alden Spellacy and sisters Mary "Molly" Lamon and Hazel Spellacy.
