Jean C. Dupont

Jean C. Dupont, 91, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Tuesday, May 29, 2018. She was born in Stafford Springs, CT, daughter of the late Omer and Maude (Smith) Cooley. Jean worked as a legal secretary in the probate court office, and also for local attorneys. She was a member of the Stafford Democratic Town Committee, and a Warrant Officer in the Stafford Civil Air Patrol. In her later years, Jean enjoyed traveling around the United States. Jean is survived by her two children, James E. DuPont and his wife Denise of Brimfield, MA, and Dr. Linda DuPont and her husband Thomas DeLucco of Coventry, CT; grandson, Curtis DuPont; brother, Richard Cooley and his wife Cynthia; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her five siblings, Winifred Reynolds, Doris Sanger, Marjorie Bren, Michael Cooley, and Olive Cooley. Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at 11 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in Staffordville Cemetery, Stafford, CT. Calling hours are on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 from 5-7 P.M. at the funeral home.
