Jeffrey Budney Obituary

BUDNEY, Jeffrey P. Jeffrey P. Budney, 40, of North Haven, died on Tuesday, (February 24, 2004). He was the beloved husband of Terri (Danielson) Budney. Born in Hartford, son of Henry and Judith (Doyle) Budney, of Berlin, he was a longtime Berlin resident before moving to North Haven six years ago. Jeff graduated from Berlin High School in 1981, and attended Mitchell College, New London and Middlesex Community College. He was vice president of Budney Overhaul and Repair, Ltd., Berlin, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and especially spear fishing. He was an avid Patriots fan and loved spending time on Rhode Island beaches. A devoted husband and father, who loved his family, he leaves his three children, Blake, Morgan, and Taylor Budney, all of North Haven. He also leaves his two brothers, Kevin Budney and his wife, Lisa of Cromwell, Michael Budney of Farmington; his grandfather, Michael P. Budney, of Berlin; his sister-in-law, Penni Rose and her husband, Robert of North Branford; his aunt, Victoria Rossano, of Newington; his godparents, Robert and June Bryant of Newington; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins, including Bryan Rossano and his wife, Stacey, Patrick and Jessica Rossano. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Joseph and Anna Doyle. He will be missed by all. His funeral service will be held Saturday, 10:30 a.m. from the Newington Memorial Funeral Home, 20 Bonair Ave., Newington, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. at the Church of the Holy Spirit, 183 Church St., Newington. Interment will be in West Meadow Cemetery, Newington. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Saturday from 9-10:30 a.m. at Newington Memorial. Memorial donations may be made to the Budney Children Education Fund, First City Bank attn: Christopher Cote, 1169 Farmington Ave., Berlin, CT 06037.
