Jeffrey Carfi Obituary
Jeffrey John Carfi, 55 of Berlin, beloved son of the late Geraldine (Geri) McCarthy and her husband Jack, passed away on Saturday, July 29th. Jeff is survived by his children Devon and Samantha. He will rest in peace with his predeceased son Blake. Jeff was a creative, adventurous person and a "Jack of all Trades". He enjoyed playing the guitar, boating, gardening, dirt biking, and snowmobiling. He loved people and was very caring with a huge heart. He enjoyed sharing his knowledge with everyone. Jeff is also survived by Elizabeth Simeone Carfi, his dear friend and business partner Mariola Lipnicki and brother Donald Carfi. He was predeceased by his sister, Carleen Carfi Spada. He also leaves behind several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Jeff will be greatly missed. Friends and family are invited to gather at Saint Paul's Church in Berlin on Saturday, August 12th at 10:00.

Jeff,was hard working,very knowledgeable,of all things,plant and tree wise,on his Properties,he Managed.

I was at the Mobil down the street when I first met Mr. Carfi 4 months ago. He was the sweetest guy! He overheard me saying I was new to Rocky Hill, (moved from VA last year with my husband), and gave all sorts of encouragement to help my nerves.
Needless to say I was heartbroken when I heard from the Mobil cashier that he passed away. I had wondered why I didn't see him as usual when I'd come in for coffee, and thought I just missed him for the day.
Condolences to the family and his loved ones... I am only a stranger but even I know you've lost a truly good man.

I was so sad when I saw it in the local paper. Jeff was such a positive person. He always had time to talk to you and had a wisdom that comes from a person who has lived a full life. He is gone too soon.

Will always remember Jeff from the Carriage Crossing days, and what a creative, hard working, upbeat / positive person he was with a zest for life. Pool parties, bands, Blair Witch unit and the condo fire are all remembered like yesterday. Goodbye bro.

The Mass was Great!
Sorry, I didn't contact everyone I could have, This happened fast. Liz, Devon, Samantha, and Donald, really stepped up to "the plate" for Jeff. I know he is Proud of everyone! We All! miss him daily. Great turnout, for a Great Guy
