Jerome, you were always an outgoing guy, a credit to the upbringing of your parents. Still remember the days when you would come by the house on your bike and we would talk about school and our classmates. My condolences to your family. May the good Lord take you into his residence where peace and happiness are always in abundance. Will miss you my friend and I know I will see you again. God's blessings, comfort and strength to all your family. Jose

I had the pleasure of having him in my home room and graduating with him from Hartford Public High in 1969. He was always wearing a smile and had a great laugh that I will never forget. On occasion we would cross paths in a local store and it was nice to see him and chat awhile. My thoughts and prayers are with the Reed family for their loss.

"Such a great guy, such a great guy," are my thoughts whenever I think of Jerry. He had a remarkably pleasent and calm demeanor, always conversant and freindly with everyone.
Jerry was a solid friend, he will be missed by so many.
Rest in peace, my good friend.
Always,

Jerry, when you would text me, "Steve, you free for breakfast next Sunday?"
I was always excited to hear from you and I knew it would be a great time to sit and chat about everything with a really cool dude.
I can't go to our hangout restaurants anymore without you.
Only if Santo or Johnny wants to go.
You were and will always be a great man Jerry.
Miss You.
