Jessica Lynn Minney

Jessica Lynn Minney, 38, of Colchester, formerly of Hebron, CT, passed away June 8, 2021. Jessica was fearless in life and believed she could outrun the wind, but lost her hard fought battle at home with her beloved son, Cameron Isaiah, and her parents, Fred and Ava Minney, by her side. Jessica left this earth to join her brother, Grayson Paul Minney, who lost his life May 11, 2013. She loved him and his music he wrote and played with his band Columbia, Fields. Jessica lit up a room with her sparkling green eyes and beautiful face. She was also a crusader for unfortunate animals and adopted many over the years to give them much deserved love and a second chance in life. Jessica had a huge heart and would help anyone in need. Jessica was employed in management at United Parcel Service for many years. During her illness this year she struggled to work a bit due to her loyalty and dedication to coworkers and company. That is a rare quality and character trait in these times. Jessica is and will be sorely missed by family, friends, UPS, and the world. God will reunite us all someday. We give special thanks and appreciation to Hartford Healthcare At Home. Their hospice unit help was invaluable for us caring for Jessica in her final days at home. May God bless hospice nurses. Final arrangements are private, but there will be a celebration of life event to come soon. Jessica will be laid to rest next to Grayson in the family plot at New Hebron Cemetery.
