Dearest Jan & family,
We are saddened to learn of the passing of John. Our thoughts and prayers go to Jan and the entire family. John was such a generous person. Through the years when our kids would fundraise for GHS or other organizations he was always there to support. We've been invited to many events at his home and he & Jan attended many of our fundraisers. We would love to run into Jan & John at 2Hopewell or the local grocery stores. He will be missed by many in Glastonbury and the Hartford area.
Our hearts to out to all the children and grandchildren. May god be with you during this most difficult time.
The Lemmon family is sending love and hugs to the Anagnos Family.
Cherish the memories,
Chris, Gina, Sydney, Christopher and Jonathan Lemmon xxxxx

My sympathy to the family. I would certainly would have come to one of the calling hours in Glastonbury at the Funeral Home had I known about John passing. John was the person to help organize the 1959 50th class reunion. In 2009 I went to his desk and said did you know this is the year of our 50th class reunion. Yes I know so what have you done. I have come to you to see if we could find a committee. Well lets get started. Well what a reunion with many classmates. a Get acquainted party Friday night and a fabulous party Saturday night. I will always remember what a wonderful host he was.

Dear Janet & all of John's family,
Words, alone, cannot express the profound dismay that is felt over the passing of a friend and a true GENTLEman. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Mary & I will savor lasting memories whenever we partake of baked stuffed shrimp dinners, reminiscent of those that Mary had so aptly made many years ago in Wethersfield, thanks to John and City Fish!
R.I.P., John, and may you find eternal peace in the house of our Lord.
Our deepest and most sincere condolences go out to the entire family.
God bless.

Very sad to hear of the passing of this wonderful man. I can remember going into City Fish many, many years ago with my mom. Since my mom and dad knew him because they owned a restaurant in East Hartford, we would go into John's office and he would put our order in so we didn't have to wait in line - that made me feel so special. May he rest in peace and heaven has gained a wonderful and kind man.
