Dear family of John,
I wondered why I didn’t hear from him for our annual lunch date over Memorial Day weekend. Then I have just called and found his phone to be disconnected .....I then went to google and was so shocked and saddened to read of his passing in February. I’m so very sorry. My husband and I had known him for many years through our laundry business and he became a lifelong friend....always coming to visit on Martha’s Vineyard where we lived and had our business . After my husband passed 8 years ago, John still continued to visit every Memorial Day weekend.
I’m so very sad.....and send my condolences to you all.
Sincerely, Janice Belisle

The first time I met John was at a spiritual community event. I was wearing a new shirt that I paid too much for. John came over to say hello and he did his traditional John greeting - a kiss on both cheeks and two pats on the back. And then, he said to me, “I am in the laundry business, that is a very high quality shirt, young lady!” I laughed and felt better about my shirt investment.

For over 3 years, I went on a dinner date the first Wednesday of the month with my friend, John. We celebrated life together. We argued about politics. He came to holidays at our home. We supported each other’s spiritual journey. John was a traditional Sicilian man and a sophisticated energy healer. He was fascinating to hang out with.

We never missed dinner and John always insisted on paying - being the man. I could count the passage of time by my dinner date with John. Until Covid disrupted our dinner dates.

John was a staple at our Abraham Dinner and was a cheerleader of my work supporting me whenever he could. He was a successful salesman and gave me business advice from over 60 years of experience.

John volunteered countless hours giving energy healing sessions and positive mindset scripts to cancer patients. He knew that a positive outlook was key to their recovery.

I was brushing my teeth yesterday reading a bookmark John printed with positive affirmations. I thought to myself that I hadn’t connected with John in a while. I learned tonight that John passed away. I actually thought he would live forever - he had so much energy and zest for life.

I am blessed to have shared so many wonderful meals with him. John, I say so long with a kiss on each cheek and two pats on the back. Caio, my friend.

I was a recipient of John’s amazing tuning fork work! His passion for healing you through God was his calling. No one did this like he did, and those who received it wanted more! He will be missed by all! Much love and prayers to family and friends at this time. He and Joan are watching over you now!

I had the pleasure of working with John at Diamond Chemical for several years. John was very passionate and dedicated to his business and his customers- many became his lifelong friends. He had the gift of gab and was also a great story teller! His customers appreciated his knowledge and compassion. He was a character!! He will be missed by all! Condolences to his family and friends. May the light shine on him forever. Jack Hall

To the Bazzano family,
John was a longtime friend. My favorite memory was when we participated in the Jimmy Fund Walk in Boston and went to dinner in Boston’s north end.He was the original energizer bunny.
