John Francis "Jack" Connelly

1937 - 2021

John "Jack" Francis Connelly, 83, of The Woodlands, Texas, lost his battle with Alzheimer's on June 9, 2021. He went to meet his maker and join his loving wife. Jack was born in New Britain, CT to James Joseph Connelly and Rose Wiegert Connelly on Oct. 13, 1937. Jack is survived by his daughter Cheryl, son Mark and his wife, Jil, son Robert (Bobby) and his wife Rocky, seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, brother-in-law Alan Blankenburg, of Newington, CT, sister-in-law Lynne Sarra McCord and her husband, Ed McCord, as well as several nieces and nephews. Jack was predeceased by his wife of forty-eight years, Beverly Ann (Sarra) Connelly, son Raymond Mark Connelly and son John Francis Connelly, Jr. A Celebration of Jack's life will be held Friday, July 9, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. from the Paul A. Shaker Funeral Home, 764 Farmington Ave., New Britain, CT, Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, 1141 Stanley St., New Britain, CT. Relatives and friends may call at the Paul A.
