John B. "BO" Fleeting Sr.

John B. Fleeting, Sr., "BO", 58, of Risley Street, East Hartford, departed this life on Wednesday, (February 6, 2002) in Hartford Hospital. He was born on January 27, 1944 in Crenshaw, Alabama, to Annie (May) Fleeting and the late Jake Fleeting. He was a resident of East Hartford for 33 years and retired from Burnside Motors, East Hartford. He was predeceased by his father-in-law, Terry Wilson; and a grandson, John Payne. Besides his mother, he is survived by a devoted wife of 38 years, Mary Lee (Wilson) Fleeting; a daughter, Johnna Harris of East Hartford; and three sons, John, Jr. of Hartford, Robert Wayne of Bloomfield and Julius of East Hartford; nine grandchildren, Chelsie, Lashay, Troy, Damaris, Robert DuWayne, Darius, Shawn and Trevon; a mother-in-law, Eula Wilson of Hartford; four brothers, Willie and wife, Dinah, of Manchester, Jimmy of Newington, Robert and wife, Theresa, and Dwight of Hartford; four sisters, Annie Andrade and husband, Samuel of Enfield, Juanita Dukes and husband, James of East Hartford, Maryola Stinger of Hartford, and Terri Haslam of Columbus, GA; and a god-sister, Grace Walker of Hartford; brothers and sisters-in- laws, Terry Wilson and wife, Johnnie of Milledgeville, GA, Robert Wilson of Springfield, MA, and Denise Wilson of Hartford; a goddaughter, Payton Fallon of Hartford; and a devoted friend and cousin, James "Ponto" Griffin of East Hartford; Jean Annino, a special friend and daughter to the family and a host of other relatives and friends. Calling hours are Monday, Feb. 11, 2002 at 11 a.m. Funeral services at 12 Noon at Agape Fellowship Church of The Living GOD, 464 Tolland Street, East Hartford. Burial will be at Silver Lane Cemetery, East Hartford. Clark, Bell & Bell Funeral Home, 319 Barbour Street, Hartford in care of arrangements.
