Our deepest condolences to all the Grennans at this most difficult time. Not only was Uncle John funny, interesting and entertaining, he was also a gentleman and a good man. His legacy is that very fine clan of Grennans that are spread across New England and the wonderful memories of him that we all share. Here is to John Grennan, a fine Irish Gentleman, who profoundly touched all our lives.

We have been so fortunate to have Uncle John be a part of our lives. We might all have a different story to tell but each ends with the same smile----a smile we will all cherish.

Love you Uncle John, always.

I miss my Gaga. Just saying that, I can remember him laughing about the response from strangers who wondered out loud, “What’s a Gaga?” With his quick wit and unmatchable sense of humor, he had an ability to make a people smile within seconds of meeting them. His wisdom and encouragement informed a lot of my decisions. He will always remain close in my thoughts and through the stories we share of our memories.

I have such fond memories of Uncle John, from calling my sister Alice, to his sharp wit that always made me laugh. I hope to have the same zest for life he did.

Caren and I send our deepest sympathies and our thoughts and prayers will be with the family.

Love,

Ryan and Caren Mulcunry

We miss our dear Grandfather, "Gaga John." He had a gift for telling stories and putting a smile on everyone's faces. We will cherish the memories we had together.
