JACOBY, John J. John J. Jacoby, 73, died Thursday (August 25, 2005) at the Hospice of Martin and St. Lucie Residence, Stuart, FL. Mr. Jacoby was born in St. Clair, PA. He has resided in Port St. Lucie for 21 years, coming from Colchester. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. Before retirement Mr. Jacoby was a Connecticut State Trooper for 22 years and also served as General Manager at Nettles Island for 10 years. Survivors include; wife, Sue Jacoby of Port St. Lucie, FL; son and daughter-in-law John and Ginger Jacoby of Colchester; daughter Patricia Jacoby and daughter and son-in-law Ellen and Steve Klee of Port St. Lucie, FL; sisters Betty Bakalar of Petaluma, CA and Annamary Hoidra of Bonita Springs, FL and five grandchildren. Service will be held on TODAT, at 12:30 p.m. with a viewing from 12-12:30 p.m. at Morningside Church, Port St. Lucie. Memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society, 865 SE Monterey Commons Blvd., Stuart, FL 34996. Arrangements are under the direction of Veterans Cremation and Burial Society, Stuart.
