John Francis Lynch

John Lynch Obituary

Lynch, John Francis John Lynch, 61, passed away surrounded by his family, on September 14, 2008, in Beverly Hills, CA, after a courageous battle against complications resulting from Crohn's Disease. John was born September 26, 1946 in Manchester, graduated from Manchester High School in 1964 and earned his Bachelor's Degree from Bryant College in Providence, RI. John moved to California in 1973 for the beautiful weather and to pursue his passion for stock car racing. John was happiest when he was either working on his cars or out on the track with the Rolling Stones keeping the beat. Many of his friendships throughout the years started at the racetrack. John loved to read and could converse on any subject with any audience. With over 20 years of corporate accounting experience working for several Southern California companies, John launched his own consulting business as a Business Broker in 1988. John leaves behind his devoted and caring wife, Fan Chang of Newbury Park, CA, his brother Michael Lynch (Susan) of Dayton, NV, sisters Maureen Lynch of East Hartford, and Kathi Lynch Prudhomme (Rob) of Folsom, CA, as well as his nieces, Alicia Slobodien, Ashley Prudhomme Jarzombek (Marlan) and nephews Jeff Slobodien and John Prudhomme. A Celebration of his life will be held on Sunday Oct 12 from 2-4 p.m. at 155 Country Lane, East Hartford. John spent all of his adult life battling the debilitating effects of Crohn's Disease and requested that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America, 396 Park Avenue South, 7th Floor, New York, NY 0016-8804.
