NICKODEMSKI, John E. Sr. John E. Nickodemski, Sr., 92, of Church St., Middletown, formerly of husband of the late Helen Wieskiewicz Nickodemski, died on Tuesday afternoon, June 14, 2005 at Harbor Hill Care Center in Middletown after a brief illness. Born in Salem, on June 12, 1913, the son of the late Vincent and Eva Nickodemski, he had resided in Meriden for some 60 years before moving to Middletown six years ago. Mr. Nickodemski attended local schools and was employed by New Departure, Division of General Motors, for over 25 years, retiring in 1965. He was a parishioner of St. Stanislaus Church and a member of the Eagles Club. He is survived by a son, John E. Nickodemski, Jr. of Broad Brook; a grandson, Steven Nickodemski and his wife, Carmen of Athens, GA; and a great-granddaughter, Nastassja. He is predeceased by three sisters, Lucy Kogut, Pauline Conreaux, and Regina Fox; and a brother, Stan ley Nickodemski. The funeral will be held TODAY at 10 a.m. from the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 East Main St., Meriden, and at 10:30 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Church, 82 Akron St., Meriden. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home, prior to the Mass, from 9 to 10 a.m.
