My condolences to the Ricciuti family. My name is Nino DiNatale and I just happened to come across this on my computer purely by accident. I am also from Casentino and related, my grandmother Concetta (Ricciuti) Bianchi was the sister of Loreto Ricciuti, Johns father. I knew zio Loreto and aunt Ersilia quite well and as a youth I spent many a days in their house, we were next door neighbors. my email is [email protected]

Dear Phyliss and family -

We were saddened to read about John and offer you our sincere condolences. You were both very gracious to me when my father and step-mother returned to Italy in the 80's, helping to interpret her letters back to me. I remember quite well that smile looking back from his picture. Please know that you and he and your family are in our prayers.

Dear Mrs Ricciuti and Teresa, Manny and Children ,
I am deeply sorry for your profound loss of such a great and gracious man. Goodness was always flowing from his heart. He welcomed everyone with that engaging grin, and the warmth he left in the world will not be forgotten. I will miss him, and I loved him, He was someone I admired for his devotion, his strength, his wisdom, his intelligence, his humor, his caring ways.
God called him, and John no doubt is helping to heal the world from heaven. There will always be his essence near you because He is goodness, love, warmth, and kindness.
I'll be looking for him each time I witness a kind word said, a smile given or a healing touch .
I am honored to have known him, and I send to you my love . I am sorry for the pain of his loss that you are feeling. It is a deep deep grief, that comes with loving and missing such a great husband, father, grandfather and friend.
