Jonathan Miller Obituary

Jonathan Thomas Miller, 39, of Berlin, died suddenly on September 3, 2017. He was born in Manchester, CT on February 24, 1978 to Karen (Gesnaldo) and the late James Ronald Miller, Sr. Jonathan grew up in Jupiter, FL and during school years excelled in sports; he loved football, baseball, basketball and soccer. Jon enjoyed watching the television series Game of Thrones and was a collector of dragon models and figurines. He was kind-hearted, fun-loving and a great story teller! His generous and compassionate nature and willingness to help others will never be forgotten. Jonathan and his beloved wife, Martha enjoyed spending time together along with their dog, Jimmy. They could often be seen holding hands while walking Jimmy around their neighborhood. In addition to his wife, Martha, Jonathan also leaves behind his devoted mother, Karen Miller of Southington; his two sisters, Sharon Middlebrook of Dubai, UAE and Christie Goldman of Granby; his aunts and uncles: Patricia Fitch, Linda Giuliano, Judith Gelinas, David Gesnaldo and Keith Gesnaldo, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, James Ronald Miller, Sr. and his brother, James Ronald Miller, Jr. A private service will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Memorial donations in Jonathan's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Jonathan, your passing has been laying heavy on my heart this week. We were once so close and don't think I've forgotten about those good times. Time had put space between us but the great memories are there. If heaven really exists I bet you are really happy to see James and your Dad ...Im sure they've missed you too! And please give Nana a kiss for me. And to Aunt Karen, I hope you can find peace and strength from the people who love you because we are all here for you. You aren't alone. ❤

My dear brother. Your sweet soul had to endure many years of pain. I am so sorry for that. I will miss your enormous personality and your 'tippy toes'. You were dealt an impossible hand and you tried your best. More than most of us could have endured. I hope that you are now chilling with dad and James, joking over silliness of our family madness. My kids, your mom and your loving martha and dog jimmy. We will miss you hugely but are happy to know that you are now having Miller time with Dad and James. Love you too much my sweet brother. See you later. xox . Sharon

My funny Nephew John could always tell a "good funny" story. Our favorite one was his visit to the GI Outpatient procedure. We literally all laughed with tears for 15 min.
Also, his 711 story in Orlando. What a sense of humor!!! he had.

He was always available to help anyone. He moved me several times. I lived with Karen and her family for a short time. And, her sons always made us welcomed and entertained. I'm sure Jonathan is in a Peaceful place with his brother and Dad.
Love you xxoo Aunt Judy

I met James and Jonny in 2002. They both welcomed me with open arms like a sister. I will never forget the kindness you showed me. How always you were supportive of anything I did. You were kind, thoughtful and caring. Goodbye dear friend... Give your brother a big hug for me.

Goodbye, Jonathon. Don't think I never noticed how much you took care of the people around you, your brother in particular. I miss you both, very much.
