Joseph E. Adametz

Joseph E. Adametz, 82, of Cromwell, widower of the late Angeline (Euliano) Adametz, died Friday (November 9, 2001). Born in Killingworth, the son of the late Jeremiah and Rose (Mazanek) Adametz, he served in the Army during World War II. Mr. Adametz worked for several years at UTC as a Tool and Die maker. He is survived by two brothers, Fred and Jerry Adametz; two sisters, Grace Smith and Mildred Adametz; and a godchild, Kristin Mozeiko. Several nieces and nephews also survive him. Joseph was predeceased by his brother, Walter Adametz and his sister, Violet Gonser. A calling hour will be Wednesday from 10-11 a.m. at the Taylor and Modeen Funeral Home, 136 S. Main St., West Hartford. Friends and relatives are invited to attend a graveside service Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. in Mount St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield.
