I've got to say Joe is one of the most self sufficient and inteligent people I have ever met. He ws passionate about his garden, cooking and being outdoors. A true sportsman, he is one of the best fisherman I will ever know. It really didn't matter if he was after smelt or tuna, Joe loved to fish.
Whether out in the boat, walking Missy his best friend, chopping wood or working in the yard, Joe was always on the go.
When Joe passed, the world lost a big guy, and I'm not talking at all about how tall he was.
He will be missed.

I will always remember going fishing with Joe and his son Shawn and listening to the Red Sox games. He taught me many life lessons, like a father. I appreciete all the good times we had, and thank god to have known him.
