Joseph Frank MOSKAL

MOSKAL, Joseph Frank Joseph "Jerry" Frank Moskal, a lifelong resident of Deep River, passed away at the Shoreline Medical Center in Essex on Friday morning, (February 19, 2010). Jerry was the beloved husband of the late Steffy (Koritkoski) Moskal. He was born in Deep River on September 6, 1920 the son of the late Frank and Louise (Makuck) Moskal. He had owned and operated Moskal Brothers Concrete, and Sand and Gravel Companies as well as Moskal Brothers Garage all in Deep River. Jerry was a well driller and drilled the original well at Valley Regional High School. He was a member of Saint Joseph Church in Chester, the Falcon Club in Ivoryton, and the Sobieski Club in Deep River. He is survived by his daughter, Lonnie Moskal of Deep River. Besides his wife and parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Laura; and brother, Edward Moskal. Visitation will be held on Monday morning, February 22, 2010, from 9:30-11:30 a.m., at the Robinson, Wright & Weymer Funeral Home, 34 Main St., in Centerbrook. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 p.m., at Saint Joseph Church, 48 Middlesex Ave., in Chester. Burial will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
