Joseph "Joe" Reale, 55, of East Hartford, beloved husband of 33 years of Salvina (Testa) Reale, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 24, 2017. Born in Hartford on November 19, 1961, he was the loving son of Antonio and Nella (Alfano) Reale of Bloomfield. Joe graduated from Northwest Catholic High School and received his Associate's Degree from the University of Hartford. He was a sales consultant for CarMax and a member of their prestigious President's Club in recognition of his outstanding customer service. Prior to working at CarMax, Joe worked alongside his father as a real estate developer for many years. Joe always put others first and had the biggest heart. He was known for his jokes and for making everyone laugh, he truly lit up any room up with his presence. Joe had an exceptional talent for cooking and was very passionate when he created delicious meals for his family and friends. He was happiest when everyone was seated at the table enjoying one of his meals. In addition, Joe was known to everyone as a 'diehard' New York Giants fan. Joe was a loving husband and father, and will be forever missed by his devoted wife, Salvina; his son, Dr. Antonio Reale of West Hartford and his two daughters, Stefanie (Reale) Duran and husband Orlando of Manchester and Alisa Reale of East Hartford. He is also survived by his sister, Serafina Capobianco of Bloomfield; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Carmelo and Carmelina (Neri) Testa; his brother-in-law, Sebastian Testa and wife Nancy of East Hartford; his sister-in-law, Alfina Rizza and husband Paul of South Windsor, as well as many nieces, nephews, co-workers and friends. Funeral services will begin Saturday (October 28) at 8:30 a.m. at the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Boulevard, Wethersfield followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Junipero Serra Parish (St. Francis of Assisi Church), 673 Ellington Road, South Windsor.
