Joseph P. Tierney

Joseph Patrick Tierney of Morristown, TN died Wednesday July 28th, 2021 at the age of 70. Joe was born on August 4, 1950 in Cromwell, Connecticut to the late Eleanor and John Tierney. He lived in Cromwell for most of his life, and graduated Xavier High School in Middletown, CT in 1968. In 2015, he moved to Morristown, TN to be closer to family there. Joe enjoyed do-it-yourself projects, and owned several businesses throughout the years, including a soda company, and a home renovation business. He is survived by his children Allison (Luke) Halvorsen of Chicago, IL, Michael Tierney of Farmington, CT, and Benjamin Tierney of Berlin, CT, and their mother, Jill Norton; his siblings, Edward Tierney of Arvada, CO, Carol Tierney and James Tierney both of Morristown, TN, and William Tierney of Manchester, CT; two grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. A private service will be held for immediate family.
