K. Richard Jones

K. Richard Jones, 64, of Birdsall Street, Winsted died peacefully, Wednesday, (December 11, 2002) at his home. He was the husband of the late Celia A. (Weaving) Jones. He was born June 18, 1938 in Winsted, the son of the late Kenneth and Bertha (Rood) Jones. He lived in Winsted all his life and was a graduate of The Gilbert School and the University of Hartford. He was currently the Master of Victory Grange #189, the Master of Mt. County Pomona #4, and the General Deputy of the Connecticut State Grange. He is survived by his daughter, Pamela Jones Aube and her husband, Andrew and their son Benjamin, all of Unionville. He was predeceased by a brother, Bob Jones. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 17, at Shea Funeral Home, 99 Wheeler Street, Winsted at 11 a.m. Interment will be held at The Forest View Cemetery in Winsted. Friends may call on Monday, December 16, at the funeral home from 7-9 p.m. Grange service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Lung Association. A reception will be held at The Grange Hall in Riverton following the service.
