Kimberly Roberts Obituary

Kimberly (Naldi) Roberts passed peacefully surrounded by loved ones on January 14, 2022 at St. Francis Hospital. Kimberly grew up in Wethersfield and lived in Newington. She graduated from Asnuntuck Community College as a LPN and Capital Community Technical College as a RN. Kimberly worked for over 25 years as a home health nurse. Kimberly found great joy in many places, but especially in caring for her patients and their families. She treated them like family and with compassion. Kimberly often would stay after giving care to continue a conversation while massaging and lotioning her patients' hands and feet. She was even known to sing to her patients, some more than others. Her children were her greatest joy in life. Their life together was filled with laughter and silly selfies. Kimberly loved going out on John's boat. They'd go out together and bring the kids. Whether tubing or fishing, a good time was had by all. Kimberly is survived by her four beautiful children, Jillian Roberts of Rhode Island, Elias Roberts of Boston, Massachusetts, Ethan Roberts and Kara Roberts of Newington; her parents, Richard and JoAnn (McSweeney) Naldi of North Carolina; brothers and their spouses, Steven and Ray Naldi of Indiana and Jeff and Rebecca Naldi of Meriden; nephews and nieces, Jacob and Corinne of Meriden and Gavin and Ella of Indiana; Aunts, Mary McSweeney and Linda Harrison; Uncle Roger and wife Judie Naldi; father of her children, Jonas Roberts; longtime friends, Jenny Wasylkiw, Lori Saypalia, and Kathy Massei; and her loving, loyal friend, John Gullo of Meriden. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 24, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of the Holy Spirit, 183 Church Street Newington, CT. A Celebration of her Life will follow the funeral Mass. In lieu of flowers, please perform a random act of kindness in memory of Kimberly.

Richard, JoAnn and family. Jonas and family. Please accept my deepest condolences with the passing of Kim.

Jillian, Elias, Ethan and Kara. I am so sorry for the loss of your mother. She was so proud of all of you and loved you so much. I’m sure you all have wonderful, fun and loving memories of her. She will always be with you as your guiding angel.

I worked with Kim as a nurse for a very long time. Some of my best work memories are of Kim. She was an excellent nurse, always willing to “jump in” when things got tough. She “had your back”. We learned a lot of things together at work. It was a very interesting time in our lives.

Kim was also hysterically funny, in a quiet kind of way. She would say something or give you “that look”. She would start you laughing and then leave you in the lurch, laughing by yourself. Just thinking of her sometimes makes me laugh. She was the best ever.

Jennie, she was your sister ❤ I’m so sorry.

John, I’m so happy that you had the opportunity to meet and know a living angle.

Rest In Peace my beautiful, funny friend. You will always be in my heart.

Dear Jillian, Elias, Ethan and Kara,
Kimberly was a gentle soul whose friendship Janie and I especially valued. There seemed a touch of humility in her personality, but not so much that eye contact would always happen in conversation which made talking with her that much more inviting. And then there was her smile. . . . She will be missed with her memory a treasure.
Please accept our condolences for you and family with our love,
Bob and Janie Fritsch
