Mr. McCollum is missed every day. We still look for him to be walking across the yard, or sitting in his chair in the garage or laying in his hammock with Teri by his side. He was a larger than life man and still to this day his presence is felt, his humor is missed as is he. Watch over us when you can.

I will miss my racquetball partner, hanging out in the Equipment Cage, watching Lori play, staying at "Zero Tyme", going to Chuck's, rooting for the Husky teams, and discussing stocks. My deepest sympathy to the McCollum family. Harry Hartley

Terry condolences to you and Lynn's family. One of the real good guys at UConn for so many years. I enjoyed my time with him either playing handball at noontime to having a beer or two with Gerry at Huskies. He will be missed.

November 15, 2014

My Sincerest sympathies to Lynn's family and friends. I knew him for 55+ years and he was one of the best people I ever knew. I remember going over to the old Field House with Lynn to watch games and many practices back when we were in high school. Many other good memories, too.

November 14, 2014

Lynn was definitely one of a kind. Everyone that knew him has a story to tell, some believable and some unbelievable although I think evn those are true. His friendship, honesty and loyalty will be missed by all those he touched. I spent many years with him at UConn and wonder how we all survived the many escapades and "happenings". He was a true Husky. When I think of Lynn it is with a smile and a little shake of the head.
