Laura Hooper Obituary
After a protracted battle with cancer, Laura Elizabeth Hooper passed peacefully in her own home on October 26, 2016 in Plainfield, CT at the age of 32. She leaves behind her husband, Eric Hooper and her daughter, Elizabeth Hooper. Laura was born on January 15, 1984 in Farmington, CT, to father William Bryan and mother Susan Bryan. She grew up in a small, loving family with one sister Sarah Bryan. Laura married her soulmate Eric Hooper on June 4, 2005. They made a home in Meriden, Wolcott, and finally settled into their dream house in Plainfield CT about 5 years ago. Her biggest joy was the birth of her daughter, Elizabeth. She loved children and kept all her nieces and nephews close. Laura was a truly beautiful soul. She was selfless, loving, and true. When diagnosed with breast cancer in 2009, she remained dedicated in her will to fight her illness. She remained a brave, iron-willed woman, even throughout her final months. Laura requested to be donated to science and cremated. Her ashes will be spread in her yard to forever remain with her family. A service/ reception will be held at Lighthouse Church, 33 Plainfield Pike, Plainfield, CT in her honor on Sunday November 13th from 2-5 PM; all are welcome. The family would like to thank all of her friends that made her life that much more special, her Aunt Sue for always being there to drive her to appointments, and the dedicated doctors and nurses that did all they could for her¿ especially her Rosie that she loved and talked so much about.

My heart breaks to learn of your passing Laura, Sarah your sister (as you know) was such an amazing person with a big heart. It is so unfortunate that she was taken so young, but I know she is no longer suffering and in pain. my deepest condolences.

Sarah, I am so sorry for your loss... Laura was so beautiful, inside and out, such a smart girl. She always had a smile on her face, I always enjoyed talking with her, she was always so positive.
